Javatini’s Case Study
Solar Control Window Film
Situation
Windows are often the focal point of a building and can be a major tool for advertisement. Javatini’s Coffee in Laguna Hills, California faces a busy street that could promote a lot of new customers. In the photo above, the top image shows what their windows looked like before we installed new vinyl graphics. It was not very clear what their services were, what they offer and a lot of heat was also entering the space. Javatini’s was tired of that and wanted to make a change.
Solution
ImageVue is a perforated window vinyl where when it is installed, the people inside the building can see out, but the people outside of the building cannot see in. It is a graphics window vinyl that creates a clean and modern look, while also helping reduce the amount of heat that enters a building. Javatini’s installed this on a few windows in their shop to get both the graphics they were looking for as well as help reducing heat.
Results
Dave, the owner of Javatini’s, told us how a businessman came in the coffee shop and asked the barista if this was their only location. The barista replied and asked if he was from around the area. The businessman said he was just there on business and chose this coffee shop because of the signage on their windows. We also measured the heat difference with and without window film and there was up to a 24-degree difference in the heat of the glass.
